Install Nameless Axle Back Exhaust for 2019 Subaru Outback 3.6L

Go fast? Maybe. Louder? Definitely.
Install Nameless Axle Back Exhaust for 2019 Subaru Outback 3.6L

Nameless axle back exhaust with 5" mufflers , easy to install, lighter than OEM exhaust, louder.  Maybe too loud.  Yes, definitely too loud.

Not sure I like it yet, I have some sound deadening mat coming and will report back after I install those.  They came, they were installed, they did make some difference, but as I explain below, it was not good enough for cruising at 80-85 MPH.

Update: I expect to remove the exhaust once the car return home at the end of the year.  It sounds nice, but due to the CVT on the Subaru and our driving pattern, the car puts the sound level right at where it is the loudest in our daily drive (2000-2500 rpm/80 MPH) and just not suitable for long distance driving.  This is especially apparent cruising through NV and UT where the speed limits were in the 70+ range.  So, depends on your driving habit, this may or may not be the exhaust that you are looking for on an Outback 3.6L.  Driving around town doing 75-78 MPH with occasionally jump on the accelerator is just fine.

Here are some pictures taken for the install, I hope to have a better write up on the installation, but basically unbolt 2 bolts each from the pipe, remove the crush washer, remove muffler from the hanger, hang new muffler, put one bolt in, slide in the gasket, put the other bolt in, tighten with the nut.

There is one thing that you do want to pay attention to is that by twisting the connection with the pipe, you can adjust the height of the tip a little bit so they match.  I noticed that the left side was sticking out lower than the right side, so I loosen the bold and did a little twisting there and got the two side to match.
